He mentions CODI.  Anyone ever looked at this company?  At first glance it seems rather interesting.  I'm kind of turned off by it's partnership structure (more complicated taxes), but their performance and holding structure looks good.

I owned this at one point (a small position) - great yield.  But I wasn't in love with the businesses, which at the end of the day, makes the investment.  It also seems from the financials that they raise equity to pay distributions, a tactic I am not a fan of. 

At this point, without considering price, I would rather be in businesses run by BRK, L, BAM, BH, etc...

Just my 2cents
