We have added four great names to the line-up of the inaugural London Value Investor Conference:
• William Browne - is one of the four managing directors at Tweedy Browne. Founded in 1920, and serving originally as a broker to Benjamin Graham and other noted value investors, Tweedy, Browne began managing money for clients in 1968 and today manages approximately $14 billion. William will share his 40 years value investing experience, particularly focusing on Tweedy's High Dividend Yield approach.
• Michael van Biema - Michael was a faculty member of the Columbia Business School, teaching MBA courses on Value Investing; he co-authored "Value investing from Graham to Buffett and beyond" and is a frequent lecturer. Michael is the founder and managing principal of van Biema Value Partners, LLC, which manages portfolios of small, deep value-oriented funds for its institutional clients. Michael will present his statistical evidence of the long-term success of value investing.
• Dan O'Keefe - Dan is the lead portfolio manager of Artisan's $6 billion Global and Non US value portfolios - Dan will share his approach to finding good value stocks on a global basis.
• Ian Jacobs, Ian worked for 6 years as Warren Buffett’s reseach analyst at Berkshire Hathaway’s head office in Omaha; he has for the last 3 years been running his own "402 Fund" and will discuss his approach to identifying investment opportunities with durable moats.
