  1. ukvalueinvestment, Thanks for your offer to help. I will send you a DM.
  2. I would like to speak to anyone on this forum who is based in Poland (please reply to this thread or DM me). In exchange for local market insights, I will share one of the most interesting investments with you that I have found in a long time (as long as you keep it confidential). Alex
  3. My friends and I get a place using AirBnB every year and I highly recommend it. We rent an entire home to stay in and each get our own room for less than $100 each for the entire weekend. Total no brainer vs the overpriced hotels during the Berkshire weekend.
  4. Pabrai discusses what the 3 things were at the 3:40 mark in the following video: "It was during his meeting with Munger, that Munger said, “If an investor just did three things, the end results would be vastly better than the rest.”
  5. Thanks for posting this Eric! I've heard you talk about this for many years and you are very passionate about the subject. Alex

  8. Yes there will! The 2016 Yellow BRKers will be held Friday, April 29th, 2016 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Omaha, starting at 4:00 pm and you can linger until 7:00 pm. There will be a short program at approximately 5:30. This is a casual atmosphere. It's a "happy hour" type of gathering - not a formal dinner or anything of that sort. The DoubleTree is located on 16th and Dodge. There may be some street parking, otherwise, one can use the parking garage with an entrance from the South at 16th & Dodge street, just east of the First National Bank. Please register in advance here: Yellowbrkers.com A $10 donation is suggested at the door to defray costs of putting on this event. There were many COBF board members there last year and I look forward to seeing you all again!
