Wire transfers from Cyprus ( European capital of money laundering for Russians), falsified income statements, undeclared foreign bank accounts. If this is true, it might be worth $20 M. It does seem that the judge is doing a good job cutting through the BS:

"Yeah, that's a real balanced and objective request!  They aren't asking you to watch Fahrenheit 11/9.  Cheers!"

I did. Still didn't change my view that socialism/communism is bad.

Eli are you going to watch Death of a Nation? I feel like you'd learn a lot from it. Liberty too.

What does this have to do with Mueller's mandate???

Why do you think the special counsel (I'm assuming you are referring to Robert Mueller) is incompetent?

Because his job is to investigate meddling in the 2016 election/issues with Russia.

You made this claim that Manafort's prosecution is outside of Mueller's mandate. I pointed you to a specific paragraph in Rosenstein's letter that clearly refutes your claim. Do you have anything constructive to add? If not, this is where you concede the point and move one.

Mueller's mandate has nothing to do with this thing being a joke. So he finds some fringe links, and that runs down an entirely different an unrelated rabbit hole? Where does the nonsense end?

Like I said, I 100% believe Manafort is guilty, but it's a clear farce if this guy Mueller is stretching back to 2006 and the 1980's and somehow throwing it under the umbrella of 2016 election meddling.

Mueller didn't discover those "fringe links". They were handed to him from prior FBI investigation. Mueller wouldn't be looking at them if Trump didn't fire Comey.

BTW, what do you think about these cases:

The referred cases involve two high profile Democratic lobbyists. Is it "a joke" and "a clear farce" too?

Gregmal,

Sadly, according to published reports, Rosenstein elected years ago to not prosecute Manafort based on these same facts.

Why do you think the special counsel (I'm assuming you are referring to Robert Mueller) is incompetent?

Because his job is to investigate meddling in the 2016 election/issues with Russia. And this is his biggest "catch" so far, and it has nothing to do with any of that. The fact that this judge has to continually reprimand the prosecution for conduct, hyperbole, and irrelevant information being brought into this just further highlights it. The fact that Mueller ends up on this sort of tangent, and investigating things with Manafort that go back to 1984, just show how much he's reaching and how badly he is trying to stick anything at all together.

Like I said, I'm fully aware of what Manafort likely did. That doesn't change the fact that the whole investigation has been a joke run by people with an anti Trump bias who cant let go.

I don’t feel the judge has an anti Trump bias at all. And why would one let an investigation go, when it is fairly clear that crimes have been committed?

I need a chart:
Cohen turned on Trump.
Gates turned on Manafort.
Accountant turned on Manafort too.
Trump Tower meeting w/Russians wasn’t about adoptions.
Junior & Senior lied. (Shocker)
Collins -king of congressional Trumpsters was indicted.
Who the hell can keep up?🤷🏻‍♀️
