I guess I'm not familiar with the Muslim ban?

Is there a ban on immigrants from Indonesia and India and Bangaladesh?

Level of corruption? - come on - nothing compared to Obama! Not even close!

I feel like Liberty is venturing under the liberal rhetoric umbrella.

"Why doesn't Christine Ford's testimony add up? How exactly do you think Swetnick is credible?"

Liberal: How dare you blame the victim!

"How is Trump any more corrupt than the Obamas, Clinton's, etc?"

Liberal: We're not talking about them!

"Don't you think there's better ways to protest than disrespecting the anthem?"

Liberal: You're racist. It takes courage to do that!

"Isn't it obvious the FBI abused it's power to go after Trump for political reasons?"

Liberal: Because he's guilty and evil!

"Aren't we innocent until proven guilty?"

Liberal: That doesn't apply here. Stop supporting a sexual predator! Obviously if multiple people have made allegations, it must be true!

On and on we go...

So glad that we finally have a President, or any politician for that matter, honoring his promises made during an election.

Doing all he can to help his population with zero evidence that he is getting anything in return. There is no $0 to $100 million a la Clinton.

How refreshing is that?

Despite all the hatred and bs being pushed down our throat by a few posters on a daily basis, I am totally convinced that we have the right guy in place to do the right thing for the people.

6 more years! Then if the Democrats impeach him: 10 more years or until 2028 under Republican leadership with Mike Pence!

I have no strongly formed opinions about this, but since we are value investors, and we strive to be objective and rational, I thought this article was nice

Hi Liberty,

I have a couple of questions concerning your position:  First, you assert the NYT has a high bar to clear before they can accuse a sitting President of tax fraud.  Please explain.  My understanding is that the bar is actually pretty low. Second, Sarah Sanders has put out a statement that the IRS looked at and signed off on the tax returns years ago. If so, doesn't that undercut your position?  Finally, your claim that Trump committed election fraud is at best misleading.  Cohen is treated differently under the statute in question.

Why do you think the bar is low? If you don't think that accusing a sitting president of fraud isn't something where the biggest newspaper in the country is going to be 100x more careful than usual (they've been working on this for over a year and have consulted lots of top legal and tax experts) and make sure they have the evidence to back it up, you're mistaken.

Yeah, everything that passed through the IRS can't have any fraud in it, right? the IRS just catches everything as it happens and nothing gets through. I don't think you understand fraud.

How is Cohen treated differently? The question is whether Trump spent money to affect the election without declaring it, which would make it an illegal campaign contribution, and a pay-off to a porn star to keep quiet before an election certainly seems to fall in that category.

I was just using Trump's words. Of course, once in office he had to change it up and restrict it to try to make it legal, but it was clearly his intention:

Ha! At the time even Dick Cheney is quoted as saying  "it goes against everything we stand for and believe in."

As for corruption, give me a break. Trump's middle names are basically "corruption" and "nepotism".

Still trying to change the subject from what this thread is about, I see. Except I've not said any of those things or even brought up most of those topics and I'm not a liberal. But I know you don't care about facts and reality, so don't let that stop you... You obviously haven't looked into any of the things that are going on right now, you just know without looking into them that Trump is right and innocent of it all and it's the whole world that is just totally fabricating things about him while he's the honest and upstanding guy, right? You live in lala land.

What world are you living in? He's doing government business from his hotels and golf clubs, the press secretary once did PR for Ivanka Trump's line of clothes and foreign diplomats have all started staying at Trump hotels because it's a way to pay off the president and they know it'll improve their odds... His son in law has a vaguely defined high-level government position while at the same time doing business deals with foreigners. He's taking selfies with members of his clubs, where it's basically pay to maybe get access to the president. He's never released his tax returns so nobody knows all his conflicts of interests, and he's never put his businesses in a blind trust so he's basically still running it all (he meets with his sons constantly... you think they never talk about business? he knows what he owns and how his policies affect his assets), making it the biggest conflict of interest of any president I can think of.

I know you've tried to change the subject 10 different ways, but I still haven't seen anything contradicting the Fred Trump filings that the NYT has about transferring his wealth (illegally) to his son, so you guys admit that Trump has been lying about being self-made and only having taken a $1m loan from his father? That doesn't bother you at all?
