I think there is a very clear, and deliberate effort in the MSM to pump up Biden and Harris. It will be one of those two IMO.

I'm not so sure the media has that kind of power anymore.

The media is just guessing like everyone else and they are betting on well known names. Just my guess, but I think will see more candidates with extreme viewpoints. It works well for OCA and Trump, so politicans take notice. With the social media now replacing traditional media, it is much easier to come out of nowhere.

Recently it seems that some people on the GOP side have belatedly started realizing that the pendulum is swinging from one extreme to the other.  Vote for Trump, get AOC for free.   So, it wouldn't surprise me if we'll be hearing in the coming months of GOPs suggesting Pence replaces Trump. Too little, too late.

@cameronfen go read the wikileaks filings on Hillary's emails around the Libya war period if you want to inform yourself.

His circle of sociopath enablers could get him easily kicked out if they believe he will not win again.  He remains in power thanks to them.

This thread went off the rails from the Bloomberg won't run announcement, but I was curious from the above post to read of Elizabeth Warren's exploitation of senior citizens and other people in foreclosure -

Quote
She also exploited senior citizens and people in foreclosure to make her money flipping homes prior to becoming a politician.

I'm not an Elizabeth Warren supporter or likely voter, but this really doesn't sound like something concerning - it sounds like someone trying to make something out of nothing.

On Warren..
https://www.nrsc.org/press-releases/elizabeth-warren-foreclosure-queen-2017-01-30/

There's also one where she apparently pressured an elderly woman with dementia to take a $30K all cash offer, only to then sell the home 6 months later for north of $100K...

Otherwise, yea what is great about the direction of the left, is that its just compounding, and in a bad way. Let's face it, Trump got elected because Americans are sick and tired of the nonsense from Washington, and they are also yearning for America to get back to it's roots. They are tired of the petty issues like people with dicks wanting to go to the ladies room taking center stage. I think the anger and mistrust is there on both sides. Then there are also extremes.

So to the extent that the AOC's of the world keep popping up, what do you guys really think is going to happen? The AOC's and the Ilan Mohammed's keep popping up, almost exclusively in response to Trump. And as a result, they pride themselves on being so anti Trump, in every facet, that they just keep taking that "extreme" that people are sick of, even further left. So far left, that even a good chunk of the establishment left, won't support it. Which just continues to bode well for Trump. Think of it like this; theoretically, it's Trump vs AOC...if you have to vote, who do you pick as a moderate? Out of everyone who voted Clinton, if they were faced with AOC vs Trump, I think a surprising number would either pick Trump or not vote; two outcomes that just continue to pull votes from the Democrats... They are doing this to themselves, and its almost entirely because of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

I don't think the GOP will try to replace Trump, but even if they wanted to, it wouldn't be Pence.  Pence was one of those VP picks (just like Quayle, Gore, Cheney,  and Biden) who's sole purpose for being on the ticket was to prevent the president from being assassinated.  Because not even the president's worst enemies would want them to become president.

LOL. Equally if not more important , it also increases the hurdle to impeach Trump.

Yes, precisely.  I should have said "removed from office" rather than "assassinated", because there is impeachment as well.

Trump has been guilty of cheating on his wife multiple times.  Hiding campaign contributions to pay off mistresses which is a felony.  Hits on his daughter.  Working with people with ties to the mob and Russian govt.   Asked Russia to hack Hillary's email when he likely had back channels that knew Russia was supporting him and willing to subvert US intersts.  Called Mexicans rapists, shithole country thing.  Moral equivalency between white nationalists and counterprotesters even after a white nationalist killed a counter protestor.  Lies 1000s of times during his presidency even when everyone knew he was lying (size of innagartion for example).  Consistently stiffing people who work for him.  Inflating assets for loans and deflating assets for taxes (although no proof he did anything illegal).  Faking bone spurs so he would not be drafted while insulting generals, veterans and families of dead soldiers.  Taunted rogue nuclear states with unstable leaders.  Doesnt do any work as president (executive time).  Cant function without people stroking his ego every 2 seconds (those videos of the cabinet praising him before meetings like we are some banana republic).

How about fraudboy who couldn't even deliver legitimate birth certificate?
