Donald Trump Is The Most Honest US President Of All Time
« on: June 10, 2019, 08:32:03 AM »
This article is completely on point about Trump, about his supporters, and especially about the vast majority of those who absolutely hate him.  It's a statement about the state of the United States empire and electorate in general.  The whole article makes one good point after another, too many to quote, it's a must read.

Quote
Trump has been continuing and expanding all of the depravities of his predecessors, but heís been doing so openly, making it look exactly as ugly and disgusting as it is. His supporters try to justify this by claiming heís making brilliant 4-D chess maneuvers against the Deep State, but Trump isnít playing chess. He isnít even playing checkers. Heís playing Uno, and heís playing it with his hand fully exposed on the table, with his only defense being to point at a red card and say ďThis oneís greenĒ and point at an eight and say ďThatís a two. Itís the best two, absolutely terrific two.Ē

Hilarious article...sadly?  ;D ;D

Pretty well written. A lot for truth hiding in plain sight. Itís like living a Coen brother movie.

"One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If weíve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. Weíre no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. Itís simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that weíve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.Ē

This article fails to recognize the impact social media has had on politics. Take our current media outlets, social media platforms, memes, and every other obscure way people are exposed to information. Then apply that to any past Presidency and I guarantee we would have a similar cultural and political climate. This is why Obama's Presidency seemed to become more and more divisive the longer it went on. His second term was undoubtedly more hostile. This all correlates with smart phone adoption and the rapid expansion of social media.

Trump isn't the most honest President we've ever had. He's simply the first asshole to step in the newly built arena.

The period we are living in reminds me a bit on the period prior to the turn of the 19th century, pre WW1. At that time, mass media and propaganda were really developed, as well as fake news. it was newspapers and the occasional pictures then. the leaders back then lived in a totally outdated world (18th venture). Look at the pic of Trump in this article and compare it to a picture from Kaiser Wilhelm II - they will look most alike. Just a coincidence maybe.

Then there is the fact that Trump, as well as the currently leading democratic candidates are all way past 70 years old.   Can’t believe it, these guys should all be retired by now. Maybe our generation is truly messed up to vote for these folks. Can the millennials please come forward and bring forward a reasonable candidate in his forties and put the cart in a  different direction? I know it sounds desperate to hope for the millennials to make things better, but they where we are at.

Those reasonable candidates are around, they just can’t win the shouting matches that currently determine the outcomes.

Too true.  The left has no one to run, because, as you pointed out, they are turning on themselves.  Everyone is virtue signaling, attacking others, and afraid to speak their minds at all.  Not unlike a witch hunt, point your finger at someone else, before someone points their finger at you.

The right, as usual, stand for nothing at all, and are just the liberals of 20-30 years ago. So they might as well just run someone who was 40 20-30 years ago.

Every cycle about this time some reasonable guy comes forward with what sounds like a pretty good plan, and no one pays any attention to him at all.  It's an american tradition.  This year it's Andrew Yang.

Andrew Yang is not reasonable and UBI is a unbelievably terrible policy. Ron Paul said it best. "The title of a Bill/Policy is often opposite of what it contains." The "Freedom Dividend" is a joke. And before you go and say Martin Luther King Jr, Nixon, or Friedman supported UBI, i'll stop you right there and say no they did not.

UBI would cost 3 Trillion dollars a year. It's redistribution of wealth, systematic stealing, and frankly immoral.
