Hala Kahiki Brewing Co. Pineapple Ale

It's 5 o'clock somewhere right?

Growing up, my Dad thought it was funny to take Labor Day and interpret it literally for my brother and me (man we hated that  ;D). Ironically I plan to carry that tradition on this weekend and plant a few acres of alfalfa for the deer.

Enjoy your weekends  8)

Van Trapp from VT if you can get it. Sierra Nevada also has an Octoberfest that’s pretty good. I do drink the Sam  Adams Octoberfest which is easy to get where I live.
From the German Oktoberfest beers, I prefer the Hacker-Pschorr and the Löwenbräu, but they are much harder to get.
Life is too short for cheap beer and wine.

Yea as mundane as it sounds in the world of craft beers, Sam Adams Octoberfest is pretty reliably awesome. Like Spaten Oktoberfest as well.

The Wegmans near my house has a pretty good German selection; I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Definitely agree on the Sam Adams. I would have to recommend Breckenridge Oktoberfest.

No. I did not. I am a cheese lover,  so I suspect I missed something.

"Well I woke up this morning and I got myself a beer," The Doors.

Morrison was singing about Tecate, not Founders Breakfast Stout. But if you like stouts I think you will find this one superb.

Everything I have had from Founders Brewing has been superb.

Royal Salute 21. Easily exceeded relatively high expectations.

I consider paying $12 for a four-pack of Founders Breakfast Stout a splurge! With my taste buds, I think I would not appreciate the Royal Salute 21.

Have you ever tried Pappy Van Winkle?
