Go to Prime Video and Watch "The Plot Against The President".

Whatever you think of Trump, it is quite clear the system is broken.

The director, writer and producer of the movie...can't call it a documentary...Amanda Millius, worked for the State Department in the Trump Administration.  Factual and unbiased...I don't think so!  How did she fund this...better question, who funded this?  Cheers!

Sure she's most likely biased, but why would her history preclude her from being factual. That's not logical.

There's a difference between "biased" (which every human being is) and a liar.

I find it hilarious how people (usually those on the left) think that unbiased reporting exists, when what they call "unbiased" is simple code for "has the same biases as I do".

What?  Your statement makes no sense.  If she's biased, how can she be purely factual?

If in a drug trafficking case, the prosecutor interviewed the mother of the accused, would she be biased or factual?  Logic would suggest she would be biased and not purely factual due to the accused being her son.

Would you think that Huma Abedin would be purely factual on Hillary's emails?  Cheers!

Sometimes the involved person would have to most knowledge and motivation to bring injustices to light.  If you're the mother of someone who is in jail, you might be the person who has the information and the motivation to bring the injustice to light.  For example Lyn Ulbricht has been on a crusade to bring attention to the unjust imprisonment of her son Ross Ulbricht who is serving multiple life sentences without the possibility of parole for running an ecommerce website.  Just because you are involved doesn't mean what you are saying isn't true.

Fully agree with you.  But then how is it that in so many such situations, the President labels it fake or biased news?  You can't have the right wing guys telling the truth when they are affiliated, and the left wing guys are lying when affiliated.

And both sides are pushing that type of fallacy, so no one ends up believing anything they see, hear or witness.  It's all just bullshit to one group or another!  Cheers!

Nice try. I did not say purely factual. Thanks for proving my point.

Exactly!   And since 95+% of the mainstream news/media/holywood/popular culture is skewed massively to the left, it is good to hear from the other side.

The sad part of this is that the media's credibility has been seriously eroded - left and right.
But if we do not get our news through the media, where is it to come from?

There is no easy solution to this problem. The best you can do is to make an effort not to get all of your information from inside the same bubble and to be skeptical of everything regardless of the source.  When I say skeptical, I don't just mean that you should assume that you are being lied to, because that may or may not be true, but you should also assume that even the truths are only part of the story as seen from one side.

The above is very hard to do for anyone, but especially when you identify or generally agree with one side.  It helps if you try to maintain an intense hatred of both sides I think.

I have always tried to get my news from various sources. I spent a year commuting two hours a day listening to FOX to keep a balance, but it was at times painful. On the other hand CNN seems to have sold their soul and some of their coverage gets to be so nit picking that it is a bit pathetic.

Also anything that seems to be off, there are some good fact checkers out there.
