An illegal driver who hits and kills someone gets better treatment in jail than children fleeing violence get in these holding centers!

What Trump is doing is working: no shame in admitting it. Many of us have been surprised.

Not in this instance: In the decade prior to 2018, not a single person died in these facilities. But Trump makes a terrible policy change and now people are dying.

His policy has zero influence on immigration numbers, people are fleeing poverty and violence, and in fact immigration has increased in the recent years. We cannot control this. All we can control is how we treat immigrants when they arrive, and Trump is a spectacular fail in this regard.

I'll give Trump credit on tariffs vs. China, but I disagree with the majority of his major decisions, especially this one on immigrant treatment, because it's such a no-brainer that he managed to screw up.
