Trump Foundation

The courts have ordered the family run Trump Foundation to dissolve (with oversight from the courts) due to funds being used for personal purposes and profit not charity. In other words, it was illegal. Wonder why Fox isn't reporting this yet but other newspapers around the world (including the conservative blog Drudge) are doing so?

I thought about that but decided this was a legal matter, not a political one. Trump's lawyer wanted the lawsuit against the Foundation dismissed because he tried to argue it was a "political matter". The courts disagreed with that argument. So Trump and his Foundation had to settle the lawsuit; and now the dissolution has to be done with judicial supervision so that the remaining funds are disbursed properly, not illegally.

I think this belongs in the Politics section.

It shouldn't - a charitable foundation - but because it's not a real one and never was, it does.
