I had a moment over the weekend. We finally went to one of our staple hibachi/sushi spots that just re-opened. My 4 year old son, who loves Chinese food, excitedly started chanting "Chinese! Chinese!". My wife looks at me, again we're just in the car driving there, so not in public, and goes "do you think he'll offend anyone if he did this at school?". And for a minute I saw her point..basically anything ethnic or race related, regardless of context, has become offensive to some. Then I thought a little harder and jokingly said, the fake outrage liberals dont care about Asian people, so its nothing to worry about. But yea, a lot of this shit has gone way to far.
