I couldn't actually, so I looked into it a bit yesterday and there's a wee bit more to the story than this chick is letting on.

In an affidavit signed by FDLE investigator Noel Pratt on Dec. 3, he concluded the email message was sent to approximately 1,750 accounts before it was discovered. Pratt said in the affidavit that he tracked down the IP address of the computer associated with the email and it directed him to Jones’ home address, which he said was probable cause to conduct a search of her property and seize her computers.

Interfering with an emergency alert system probably isn't the best way to go about making your point.

Still doesn’t explain the use of guns though? 10 officers with guns! The point is not the search warrant, the point is the use of excessive force in the context of this thread.
Lame stream media story:

Authorities must take many factors into consideration before they take someone into custody, he said. "They have the responsibility to not only protect their agents, but the public at large and even the person they are arresting. Often the way to do that is with overwhelming force that would tend to dissuade any resistance."

"In the FBI, we tend to defuse situations by removing the fight-or-flight inclination, via our overwhelming presence. To arrest one, we bring 10. For 10, we'll bring 100," he also explained.

And the Roger Stone arrest...

He also said Stone may have himself contributed to the way the FBI planned his arrest by his bombastic remarks, which have included posing with weapons and "training" at a firing range in case of a "civil war."

"Part of the problem is, if you act crazy in public, you take the risk of people believing it," German said. "If you're saying things about resisting the government, then the government has to imagine that you might do that."

Could be said about police as well.  There are enough videos out there of police murdering people that it is no wonder many people have a bad opinion of police.  Of all the interactions I've ever had with police officers there were a couple that I came away from it with "wow what a nice guy", but the vast majority was "Wow, what arrogant fucking prick, I don't believe I'm forced to pay that asshole's salary."  And of course there was one time when an officer pulled a firearm on me because my trunk lock was broken.  When you act a certain way in public people start believing that is how you are.

And the FBI, where the irony is hard to miss.  If you act like a militarized police force in public, people believe it.

Cop brags about running people over. Rather than arrest the guy just admitting to attempted murder, fellow cops turn away so he doesn’t further incriminate himself. Serve and protect.
