Maybe the people on the American boat are protesting? Proximity on American boat looks like Canadian protests from a month ago.

“I’m glad I’m in Canada,” said Amanda Barnes of Brampton, Ontario. “You can see why the pandemic is raging in the United States and not in Canada when you look at the difference between the boats.”

Yep definitely the boats. Nice observation Amanda.

Canada had protests, but CV isn't raging out of control in Canada, therefore CV epidemics aren't caused by protesting. I think that logic holds.

Good points. Thanks for pointing that out.

Here is a clue...
Take a close look at the picture and what percentage of people are wearing masks? 98-99%?

Paul. I gave you an answer and have no intention in assisting you in pursuing your personal agendas, whatever they are. You hijack nearly every thread to pursue your own topics that usually evolve around gender identity, morality, abortion, religion, etc and then try to bait other posters into arguing with you. For instance, in the space of a couple of hours...

Under “Republican voters against trump”
You post...
“I do know one thing though, that if God doesn't exist, nothing any of us do is really "wrong" anyway”

Under “Police State"
You post...
“If the aborted being isn't human, what is it then?
I used to be pro-choice on a national level but the pro-life argument is significantly stronger.”

Under “Social Distancing Difference Between US and Canada...”
You post...
“As a father with a 3 year old girl, I find it very wrong that she would have to potentially compete against biological males in Canada. So it's okay for her to work her tail off and to then to lose to a person with several biological advantages? Screw that.”

What on earth has that got to do with social distancing in Canada?

And yes we all get off topic, but you do it so consistently that you remind me of those guys who knock on your door trying to sell you on their own religion.

Masks help in close quarters, but they aren't 100%...just like condoms and HIV...abstinence is the only thing that is 100%.  Social distancing or avoiding groups of people is the only effective method to avoid Covid-19.  There is no reason in the world that boat owner should have allowed that many people on there, whether they are wearing masks or not.  The number should have been at least half that, so that there is some space between passengers.  Cheers!

Just a minor clarification. When I was refering to picture posted by orthopa of the demonstration in Canada, not the picture of the boats.

If you click on orthopa's picture you will see that almost every single person is wearing a mask. Tends to show that Canadian protestors were at least attempting to be responsible.

well, you guys were comparing the US to Canada. I just pointed out that Canada is at least as crazy (if not more). Though I will admit you guys do follow social distancing better!

As far as the abortion topic, Sanj made a comment in the past about how men shouldn't be able to tell a woman what to do because well, men aren't women. I made the point that if you are following that logic, then a non-police officer shouldn't be able to tell a police officer what to do. Speaking of which, Sanj didn't respond to my abortion questions when I challenged him on his logic. :(

Now, Sanj, if you're reading this, I'm happy to get your reply via PM to not bog down that thread!

For the "God" topics, lc, was trying to call me out on that saying something like "you better believe in god...". I do think it's funny when the atheists (like Sanj and lc) think there is some moral high ground that we all ought to strive for but there is no reason to think that if their worldviews are correct. Granted, when I was agnostic, I thought the same thing but I was wrong. If you're going to play that game, it makes sense to follow the logic to the end.

I'd like for them to realize that. I think lc does that's why he gets so angry! haha

So overall, it may seem like there unrelated to the topic but there are various connections (but admittedly more so with the poster than the main topic).

By the way, I did not post anything anti-gay. I posted something that was anti transgender athletes facing biological females. There is a difference. And no, you didn't answer the follow up.
