The wannabe autocrat, psychopath in chief refused to commit to a peaceful transfer of power today, unless we "get rid of ballots" in which case there would be "no transfer of power, but a continuation of power"

No need for a 3rd term if the 2nd one never ends! How to get rid of riots in the street? Easy, just get rid of ballots and let him stay in power!

It really would have been nice if the Democrats had agreed to a peaceful transfer of power in 2016.

Democrats made a mockery of the longstanding tradition in US politics.

And they totally destroyed the Impeachment process which is now TOTALLY reserved for use in politics, bypassing any legal basis.
Politicians are now able to make up phony statues such as "abuse of power" that have NO statue or legal code - all that is now required
is that the opposition party intensely DISLIKE the democratically ELECTED President enough to scream "abuse of power" for any
action they disagree with - and undertake an impeachment process.

How far down the rathole we have gone.

Tribalism in full force in US politics. When was the last time we had a debate ďon the issues?Ē

Also what was non-peaceful about Trumpís transition? From what Iíve read, the Obama administration echoed Bushís transition process.

On impeachment, itís always been political. Go look up the party voting breakdown in prior impeachments.

Just wait until they try to use the 25th Amendment to get rid of that old fool/stooge and make Harris President and Pelosi VP.  The only good thing is that they probably won't have the votes in the House and Senate to pull it off.  If the predicted blue wave had come to pass this would have been done in the first half of 2021.
