Who's Hitler?
« on: December 18, 2017, 01:14:33 PM »
One guy protected terrorists, the other guy stopped them. Odd because this isn't how it's been portrayed by CNN, WAPO, and all those brilliant late night tv hosts. I swear, this whole time I thought the terrorists were Russian!

What are you talking about?  NYTimes, CNN, all of them reported on the CIA's help in thwarting the Russia attack.

Just because they call out your guy for all of the crap he pulls...shit that no one else in U.S. history would get away with...doesn't mean that they don't point out what he does right every blue moon.

That's more than can be said for the right-wing outlets that come up with the most improbable scenarios to justify Trump's multitude of ludicrous acts.  Cheers!

What am I talking about? Well for starters, there are multiple issues here. Chronologically, I remember during the 2012 presidential debate, one of the questions asked was who would be our biggest foreign threat. Mitt Romney mentioned Russia. Not surprisingly, Barry O snidely ignored giving any legitimate response, but quipped sarcastically, "Hey Mitt, the 1980's called and wants the Cold War back". This lazy response was greeted with mass cheers and was a "highlight" of the debate on the usual sites. CNN, NYT, etc. Oh how funny it was a few years later when now all of a sudden Russia was perceived to be this massive threat. Ironic.

But more so relating to Russia, is this outrageous attitude MSM and the Democrats have towards Russia. It is the same arrogant attitude Trump has with North Korea. No effort or desire to become allies or work together. The left constantly conjures and incites drama relating to Russia. It has become part of the Democrat platform to shit on and instigate Russia.

Meanwhile... The liberal hero, Barry O, was literally aiding terrorist organizations, as evidenced by the above. No "investigations" or witch hunts are being called for, are they? Like literally, this guy was refusing to let an operation that spent millions of tax payer dollars and risked the lives of Americans, catch the bad guys and terrorists, so he could do a deal that stuffed billions into one of our enemies pockets????

And then ironically, on the same news page, is a story about Trump helping thwart a major terrorist attack in Russia! Supposedly because he shared CIA intel with Russia for the greater good of humanity. And yet, if you recall, all we heard about from the deadbeat journalists, was nonsense about Russian election hacking and even cries that Trump leaked CIA information to Russia! Who cares that it might have saved thousands of lives? Russia is the enemy says MSM. Heck, wasn't the stupid issue that Michael Flynn was getting charged with lying about, get this, lying about speaking to Russian ambassadors about fighting terrorists?

And yes, you are right. CNN, NYT, etc all reported this. Isn't it shameful we have to applaud them for actually reporting on something that happened?

Wait, wasn't it under Republican administrations that the US was funding Talibans against the Russians?  So, was it Barry O who is responsible for that too...treating the Russians/Soviets like pariah!  That Barry O must be a time-jumping, shape shifting, slithery little bastard!

Almost every government body in the world has played both sides, or allowed a lesser transgression to try and achieve a greater long-term good.  But Trump is the only one sitting as a U.S. candidate or president that has actually allowed another country to subvert American democracy.  But Breitbart and Fox News will never utter those words, even if Mueller finds emails linking him to it or produces witnesses that testify to it.

Maybe nothing will come of the Mueller investigations and Liberals will have to eat their shorts.  Regardless Barry O will somehow be responsible for all of it!  Cheers!

You gotta be deaf, dumb and blind by now to think there was no collusion with Russia. Don Jr. himself tweeted out emails indicating his willingness to collude. We've seen his communications with Wikileaks. I don't know why you would possibly need more evidence but there is plenty more than that.

And I'm sorry man - Russia is not an ally. They are an enemy. Our allies are those countries which support democracy and capitalism. Russia attacked our democracy in our last election, which is up there with one of the worst possible things a foreign country can do to us. Vladimir Putin is an evil dictator with dirt on our president, which he's definitely using to try and remove the sanctions we levied on Russia after they invaded Ukraine. Our president should not be susceptible to Russian blackmail. Why would anyone want that?

I don't know how outrage isn't universal. I'm not a liberal. In general I find liberals pretty annoying, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to stand with them when I see  the ideals I care about and value most crumble before my eyes.

And even more detailed evidence of wrong doing by both Trump and Putin are eye-witness accounts of the intrigue, collusion, money laundering and financing of Trump's real estate empire (without the Russians, he was totally wiped out financially - see his tax filings if you don't believe this; oops, he won't reveal them. Wonder why?)
And Putin the mafia head of Russia, a tyrant, murderer and disrupter of as many world democracies as he can (he totally destroyed democratic leanings in Russia within his first 24 months in office) and now running for another 6 years.
Is this liberal nonsense? why not go to Barnes and Noble (U.S.) or Chapters (Canada) and do some reading and research of eye witness accounts/books, like these 3 books: The Man Without a Face, Collusion, and Red Notice. Other lesser writers and politicians have gone to their graves for writing less.  And Trump is envious and considers Putin a friend? "He told me he didn't interfere in our elections, and I believe him".  Are you kidding me?  Ask the dead men and women in cemetaries in Russian what they think.

I don't think anyone's saying Russia and Putin are saints. It's just quite amusing to me the double standard. Is Iran any different? Heck, the lengths that people have gone not to offend many Middle East countries has been significant. As I've said, I am not a fan at all of how arrogant and callous Trump has been with North Korea. There should always be efforts to be diplomatic. Especially in the case of Russia and China who are formidable world powers. Yet the Dems refuse to take any stance other than one that leverages their ability to conjure political rhetoric. Russia and US relations really deteriorated under Obama. I don't know if it was Obama's insecurities over pictures of Putin petting lions, flying fighter jets, and riding horseback shirtless through Siberia, while he played with a Portuguese Water Dog and took orders from his wife, but his administration made ZERO effort to do anything but inflame relations. The same thing Trump is doing when he sends off these ridiculous tweets calling Kim Jon Un fat.

And, please, our Democracy was not attacked or undermined because Russia bought ads on Facebook. I've personally never had a social media account. FB, Twitter, or otherwise. Russia had nothing to do with my decision to vote. So frankly, in the event that our Democracy was compromised by a third party buying advertisements, it speaks to the stupidity of the American people and suggests maybe democracy isn't best for us anyway. But we know that's all liberal bullshit. No one voted for Trump because they were hypnotized by Russian ads.

I do agree that Trump definitely had/has significant business dealings with Russia. He likely owes a big portion of his empire to them. So what? That's business, at least on high levels. You work angles and edges and sometimes have to make allies or do business in an absolute fashion. That really shouldn't bother anyone. Maybe we should also focus on the Clinton's dealings with Saudi fundraisers? My point is, Clintons dirty fundraising and donations, and Trumps Russia business, whatever. You're naive not to think that's not how high level businesses work. You don't think Exxon hasn't pulled strings in the Middle East and parts of Africa? Trump isn't going to be blackmailed. More likely, is that after dealing with one arrogant and insecure President for the past eight years, Putin/Russia figured this arrogant and insecure candidate had a better shot at improving US/Russia relations. Again, what's wrong with that? I'd root for, or even try to help a business associate/friend/someone I am at least familiar with attain a position of power. Especially if the alternative was someone who goes out of their way to use you as political propaganda to the detriment of your country.

There's nothing else to say. If $300k of Facebook ads brainwashed Americans, we're f*****. For surely there are plenty of forces out there willing to spend and do more if mind control is the result...

Suppose a scenario where Trump colluded with Russia and is lying about it. This would mean that Trump obstructed justice by firing James Comey, which would likely lead to his removal from office. My guess is Trump doesn't want to be removed from office, and it poses a problem for him that the Russians, being on the other end of the collusion, are in possession of information that would incriminate him. With that information the Russians can manipulate Trump into doing things that he might not do otherwise, like lifting sanctions we levied against them.

Here is the definition of "blackmail" that came up first in Google: "the action, treated as a criminal offense, of demanding money from a person in return for not revealing compromising or injurious information about that person."

Take a look at this article and tell me he didn't collude and is not being blackmailed: http://foreignpolicy.com/2017/10/26/state-department-scraps-sanctions-office/

Also just stop with the fallacious ad hominem. Wrong is wrong. It doesn't matter what terrible thing Clinton or Obama did. They have no power. We can move onto them when the real problems are dealt with.
