Eric, you generally post links of very high quality. This one seems to be an exception.

I agree that there is much to strike out and wade through and that I wouldn't quote, however I would keep this nugget:
"It’s hard work to lift ourselves above our prejudices, and... the phrase “identity politics” to disparage those who are trying is displaying their own... held biases."

Read the Footnotes' worldview:
"Liberals who criticize Trump - great. Liberals who criticize neocon ideology - not great."
"Human civilization? It might be a good idea." - Not Gandhi
"Before you can be rich, you must be poor." - Nef Anyo
"Money is an illusion" - Not Karl Marx

The Democratic party still thinks they "own" minorities....simply amazing....Any minority who doesn't pledge their allegiance to the Democratic party is immediately ostracized, labeled "And Uncle Tom" or some other ridiculous term.

Many blacks are understanding the hell that the Democratic Party has created for them. They know they have been suckers:

And when all else fails for Democrats, just call your opponents racists.

Ah the irony.  If Biden is a racist Trump must be behind in the polling.

Jurgis, did you learn that style of argumentation from Cathy Newman?

Maybe I'm just a fan of a well reasoned argument. ERICOPOLY expresses himself well and generally links to high quality resources. In this case, I think he could have made his point better with a different link.

That's pretty good. You really do sound like a puppet, but I think you're supposed to say "The Blacks".

I agree with that.  Parts of it rhymed with the tone of the militant speaker in the Black Panther Party scene from Forrest Gump:

That's awesome:

Trump once complained that "the whites" don't receive BET Award nominations.

Now, let's sit back and see . . .
Biden apologized. The fun is probably over.

Quote
"I should not have been so cavalier. I've never, never, ever taken the African American community for granted."

Biden also said he "shouldn't have been such a wise guy," adding that "no one should have to vote for any party based on their race, their religion, their background,"

If you've ever watched the show in question, it's probably a very difficult show to try to balance being Presidential and looking like a total dork. I'll take Biden's performance over Elizabeth Warren's. I dare you to try sitting through this performance:
